Yemeni Specialty Coffee Beans – Rare, Spiced & Wine-Like

Before coffee was grown anywhere else, it was traded through the Yemeni port of Mocha. Today Yemen still grows coffee much as it did centuries ago: on hand-built mountain terraces, often without irrigation, then dried whole in the sun. Harvests are tiny, which makes every lot rare.

The cup is unlike anything else on our shelf. Expect dried raisin and dark cocoa, warm notes of spice, and a deep, wine-like finish that lingers. Brew it on a V60 or in a French press and drink it black to taste everything it has to give.
